Frank Black and the Catholics will release a 7-disc boxset o nMarch 23 containing all 6 of the band's full-lengths alongside a bonus disc containing recordings from the Black Letter Days recording sessions. All six albums have been re-mastered.
The albums will appear on the new release in alphabetic order. "It feels like an approximation of randomness and its a way to randomise something, especially if its titles,” says Black of the sequencing. Furthermore, "[this way] we get away from the preciousness of LPs we put out and its more about the body of work, the good times that we had."
Black is also active in The Pixies, who released Indie Cindy earlier in 2014.
