The Black Dahlia Murder dish out Servitude

Posted in Records on June 15, 2024

The Black Dahlia Murder has unleashed a torrent of updates. The band has a new record out later this year, plus extensive touring throughout Europe. They will release their tenth album, Servitude, on Sept. 27 via Metal Blade Records.

The new record marks the band's continuation after the passing of vocalist/co-founder Trevor Strnad in 2022.

“Everyone that’s in the band now is someone that Trevor and I searched for,” co-founder Brian Eschbach says. “We spent so much time on the road together that everyone understands the mission statement. We don’t really need to talk about it. We just need to make great music and try to make people happy playing it.”

On Servitude, Eschbach moves from guitar to vocals, with former member Ryan Knight returning on guitar (who last played on 2015 album Abysmal).
