Cowards, the sludge/doom band from Paris, has announced that their debut Shooting Blanks & Pills will be reissued on vinyl in Canada. The record first released on Throatruiner in 2012 and is long sold out. The new issue will be released by Canada's Secret Handshake Recordings on Sept. 1. It will be on both 12" and CD.

The band is planning to record a new LP soon.

Drive Like Jehu reunion

Idioteq is reporting a free show in San Diego later this month from Drive By Jehu. The show will take place on Aug. 31 at Balboa Park and will be free. Drive Like Jehu broke up in 1994 and released Yank Crime that year.  Read more
