New Jersey guitar/drum duo A Fucking Elephant has announced an upcoming 7" on Nefarious Industries. The new EP comes out on January 22, 2013 and is their first release in two years.

In late January Deafheaven will be entering Atomic Garden studios to record their second album, Sunbather. Jack Shirley, who also recorded thei debut, Roads to Judah, will be producing. The band is aiming for a spring release. Read more

Kyuss members form Vista Chino

John Garcia, Brant Bjork, and Nick Oliveri, all former members of the influential Kyuss, have formed a new band Vista Chino along with Bruno Fevery on guitar. They are currently recording, with plans for a 2013 release a worldwide tour. Kyuss reunited earlier this year to play several shows. Read more
