Case Oats with Merge

Merge Records just inked Chicago, IL based project Case Oats, sharing a new single called "Seventeen" just before the group heads to SXSW in Austin, TX next week.

Case Oats is led by Casey Gomez Walker (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), joined by Spencer Tweedy (drums), Max Subar (guitar, pedal steel), Scott Daniel (fiddle), and Jason Ashworth (bass).

While "Seventeen" is new right now, their Merge debut album is still on the horizon and is slated for "later this year."
