As the band mentioned at the end of 2025, Middle-Aged Queers is back with a covers album, Greatest Hits, a collection of punked-up versions of songs that originally span a wider vareity of genres.

"Over the past four years, Middle-Aged Queers has concluded our recording sessions by covering one or two songs, if time allowed," explains Shuan Osborne. "By the end of 2025, we realized we had enough material to do a collection of previously unreleased covers, which we decided to title ‘Greatest Hits’ as a self-deprecating nod to the fact that we don’t actually have any hits of our own! That’s show business for you!"

This includes songs originally by Faith No More, AFI, Taylor Swift, Mazzy Star, Bush, Dr. Know, and more. Greatest Hits is available via Sell The Heart (US) / Engineer (UK) Records.

Theatre Of Shame is the third LP from Bay Area band Middle-Aged Queers, a band whose moniker definitely gives away the plot. The band celebrates community with party punk songs like "Glizzies Banging" and "Pajama Party," but it also has pointed political commentary about the dangers of a bigoted society. In equal parts, Theatre Of Shame is about celebration and … Read more

The Dregs

The first time I saw Engineer was when they opened for fellow New Yorkers Another Breath. I had anticipated another youth crew styled band to be playing and I was absolutely astonished when they turned out the lights and performed the loudest set I'd ever seen. From then on I was a fan, no question. For those of you unfamiliar, … Read more
