Mike Watt teams up with The Cutthroat Brothers for RSD

Record Store Day returns on June 12, next Saturday, and among the plethora of new releases is an album by The Cutthroat Brothers and Mike Watt, titled The King Is Dead. The album will release on vinyl only, followed by a belated July 9 digital release.

The record combines the swampy, blues punk tones of The Cutthroat Brothers with the one and only Mike Watt on bass, bring memories of protopunk, rockabilly, and a whole lot more to the table.

The album will release on Hound Gawd! Records.
