Tommy Stinson in Cowboys in the Campfire

Tommy Stinson has teamed up with Chip Roberts for the upcoming debut of Cowboys in the Campfire, Wronger.

The 10-song collection is described as mixing twang, grit, and melody. Stinson is best known for his work with The Replacements, and has also played with Bash & Pop, Perfect, Guns N' Roses, and Soul Asylum. Roberts, a musician from the Philadelphia area (and the uncle of Stinson's second ex-wife).

The two had  played songs together, but never took the project seriously until a Guns N' Roses hiatus. The two collaborated on the song "Anything Could Happen," which features Roberts and served as the title track a 2017 Bash & Pop album, and the collab continued, eventually culminating with Wronger.

Wronger will release on June 2 on Cobraside. Listen to the lead single, "Dream," below.
