Munich-based post-hardcore band Oakhands is back with a new EP, A Circle with Many Centres, out Sept. 15 via This Charming Man Records.
The band shares the single "How To Bloom" now in advance, stating:
We tried working on some musical influences that somehow never seemed to fit into Oakhands on > How To Bloom < : Math-Pop & Power-Pop. The result is catchy and quirky, just as its rhythms are weird. And it’s a real test to our physical stamina. The liveliest of all our new songs requires a machine-like precision. It’s also the only song on our new EP to feature one of our collective members on the recording. Listen closely, and you’ll literally feel Philipp Breeses sweat dripping as he’s pounding the drums at Van Holzen’s Studio Valachai, in the outskirts of Ulm.
