Plutocracy Planet continues to share new singles in advance of the supergroup's debut, coming out July 12.
The band features members of The Dillinger Escape Plan, American Football, Protest the Hero, Braid, The Get-Up Kids, The Callous Daoboys, Far, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Secret Chiefs 3, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Yakuza, Solillaquists of Sound, and more. Their new single is "A Simple Refrain," with Matt Pryor (The Get-Up Kids), Swamburger (Solillaquists of Sound), and guest Mike Kinsella (American Football). The song features three distinct movements, building from southwestern guitar to electro-rap.
The project began via Scott Morrow in 2021.
