Hauntu shared a new song this week, a standalone single following the release of a 7" earlier this year (Sell The Heart Records). The band is rooted in San Diego, CA and features former members of Luna/Warsaw, Holy Tears, The Dropscience, Fluf, and more,.
Speaking of the new song, it's been in the works for awhile, the band explains:
"Sadist Sun" was originally written over two years ago and has gone through more changes than any other Hauntu song, including being transposed and rewritten in a completely different key than it was originally composed in. Something about it just wasn't hitting right, but once we dropped the key down a half step everything clicked into place and it quickly became one of our favorite songs.
