Less Than Jake's new Lost At Home session

Posted in MP3s on June 5, 2020

Having already released the first of the Lost At Home Sessions, a pandemic/quarantine-inspired collection of recordings, Less Than Jake has now issue Volume Two, a new song titled "Spirit of '20."

Benefits from sales, beginning today, will go toward For The Nomads, which raises funds for furloughed entertainment industry workers.

"I literally sat down and wrote this one in about ten minutes. The lyrics were totally stream of consciousness. The human spirit is always there to guide us and get us through. Sure, the lyrics could be construed as a sign of the time, but really, this song could be about anything that keeps you down. Your boss, the government, or an ex. They can put us all on lockdown, but they will never break our spirit," says vocalist/guitarist Chris DeMakes.

Grab the new song via bandcamp.

DeMakes also recently launched "Chris DeMakes A Podcast."
